On May 28, 2026, the “3rd Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Collaborative Development Conference and Embodied AI Robot Industry Matchmaking Event,” jointly hosted by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and the Hexi District People’s Government, was held in Tianjin. Focusing on the industrial synergy of intelligent manufacturing equipment, the conference aimed to connect the full-chain resources of policy, technology, industry, and capital. At the Matchmaking Event, Yu Shuo, representative of Vizum, delivered a keynote speech titled “Full-Stack In-House Development + Industrial Synergy: The ‘Chinese Path’ to the Scalable Implementation of Humanoid Robots”. The speech analyzed how to accelerate the transition of humanoid robots from the laboratory to real-world application scenarios across industries during the current industrial upgrading.

Yu Shuo pointed out that an independently developed control and visual perception foundation is key to managing hardware and software costs and ensuring industrial-grade stability. Relying on the domestic industrial chain for deep synergy is an effective path to accelerate the transition of intelligent equipment from small-batch trial production to mass production, improving the return on investment (ROI) for enterprises.
Software and Hardware Synergy: Building Technological Barriers for Embodied AI
Supporting this implementation path is Vizum’s technological accumulation in perception, decision-making, and execution. On the visual input end, the independently developed ViEye (Grasping) and ViEye (Welding) series of intelligent industrial 3D cameras feature high precision, high frame rates, large depth of field, and strong anti-interference capabilities, enabling stable 3D reconstruction and recognition in complex industrial environments involving arc light, reflections, and high temperatures.
To enable visual perception to better guide machine practice, the supporting FH Platform and MH Platform construct an intelligent closed loop. The FH Platform focuses on target recognition and path planning, providing efficient guidance for intelligent grasping; while the MH Platform specializes in welding inspection and dynamic tracking, achieving automatic planning and precise control of welding paths.
Based on its visual foundation, Vizum has created a robot product matrix covering multiple scenarios, including AGV, bipedal, and picking humanoid robots. Combined with an intelligent dexterous hand featuring 16 degrees of freedom and a single-hand load capacity of 15kg, the system corrects motion trajectories in real time through visual feedback, equipping the robots with precise grasping and interactive capabilities.
